We have a very old Marigold tree due to lack of water and soil that has built up around the trunk, it is believed that the lower regions are rotting. Can it be saved by more watering and taking away the soil that has built up around it.

Hi Lynda, To be honest I do not know much about this one. It is classified as annual/perennial so has a limited lifespan. It might be a case that is has outgrown it’s lifespan. You might be able to take cutting and start again. Thanks the Palmers Team
