Can you please tell me what time of year are we most likely to find the best range and stock of Michelia trees in store? We are looking to buy several mature – 3.5 high specimens.

Many thanks

Hi Kirsty, the best time to plant would be Autumn. We don’t really do a lot with specimens that size, we might at times have them around the 1.5m in your case you are looking at some seriously aged specimen trees (valued at many hundreds of $ each) you could give your local store a call on 0800 PALMERS to see if they can locate some for you otherwise the only place I could think of is Black Bridge Nurseries that specialise in Specimen trees. Thanks the Palmers Team
