I have planted strawberry plants into a large pot. I was told it’s good to put straw around the plants but then I read your shouldn’t let the straw touch the plant stems. Is this correct?

Hi Denise, it is fine for the straw to touch the stem, however it is important to have good air flow around the plant and fruit, as long as you achieve this you should be fine. Thanks, the Palmers team
