I live in Philippines and have bought seeds from N.Z. to plant here. All seeds are “presumed” suitable for tropical areas.
My tomatoes sprout o.k. will refuse to grow more than 20-30 centimetres high and take 3-4 months to get there. They will not flower.
Other vegetables also grow very slowly.
My soil is very fertile and I water frequently.
Do you know what problem could be?

Hi Warren, it’s quite hard to know what’s going wrong without knowing the conditions over there. It could just be that while the seeds state they are suitable for tropical environments, this may be NZ tropical standards rather than the Philippines. It may be that the temperatures are just too hot for them, hence why they are only reaching a certain height. Thanks, the Palmers team
