Hi, I have 3 passionfruit plants, 2 of which are full of fruit. Last season they refused to ripen but when you cut open the fruit, they were ripe inside & tasted perfect. Any reason as to why they won’t ripen. The name of the fruit is Black Magic.

Hi Richard, the only thing we can think of is that maybe the vine just isn’t getting enough extended sunlight? Sometimes if you stress them out a little, it will dry them out a bit, that can also initiate the ripening. Hence the ripeness inside but not out. Make sure they are well watered and in a nice warm sunny spot. Thanks, the Palmers team
