Hi the tomatoes that I planted out some weeks ago the leaves have started to curl on the new growth, I have had this happen before last year. This year I have planted in a different location, both times in tomato potting mixture, last year in the normal garden, this year in large boxes. Can you tell me what is the cause of this.

Thank you

Hi Stephanie

Thanks for your question. The tomatoes can be suffering from drought possibly. Water three times a week in the early morning at the base of the plants if possible. This will help protect against fungal disease and will help the plants cope with the summer heat.

Spray your plants with organic Copper from Kiwicare and alternate once a fortnight with Neem Oil mixed with water to the product specifications.

Happy gardening
