I have a cabbage tree in a large pot.
It provides good screening, which is what I want.
There are so many “heads” on it that it seems crowded, there being very short stalks to each head.
I’d like advice on how to remove some of these and how to treat the cuts.
The root ball fills the pot and there is no option of re-potting.
I look forward to your advice.

Hi Irene, yes you can remove some of these heads, either by sharp knife or hand saw. The cut can be treated with a pruning paste or some Vaseline. Thanks, the Palmers team
