We have a rough grass established in our lawn which was identified by our local Palmers man when I presented him with a sample. We had a spare section over the road which was left unmown but now being built on. We had been away for a couple of weeks and this thick grass just seemed to be taking over our previously lovely lawn. Palmers recommended I spray with Zero weedkiller. I have done that and appear to have a good kill. On the container it says leave for 2 weeks. How long after spraying can I replant lawn seed?

Hi Jocelyn, please note Zero will kill everything including any good grass that you might have sprayed. Zero contains Glyphosate which once absorbed by the plant has “done” it’s job (although it might take a while to be visible depending on the speed of the weed growth). You can prepare and re-sow your lawn within 2-3 days (preferably without disturbing the soil) i.e. adding some lawn mix is fine, if you are re-levelling you might want to wait 7-10 days). Thanks, the Palmers team
