I have 2 Ligustrum Rotundifolias in pots beside the front door. One is growing very well and has lots of new growth and shiny leaves – the other has dull leaves and they turn in towards the trunk and keep dying and falling off. It has got some new growth but compared to the other plant looks very unwell. What sort of disease has this got and is there anything to spray this with??
Thank you

Hi Marylou, as they started off being the “same” plants you would have treated both the same, although one might get more sun, or one might get a draft, from this point they would need to be treated differently (i.e. one gets more water, the other a lot less). The dull one appears to be under stress, most likely from too much water. I would suggest moving it so it can dry up quickly and apply some slow release fertiliser and it should come away again. Thanks, the Palmers team
