How do I get rid of ants in outside pots? I want to transfer pots around the garden and don’t want to spread them.

Hi Lois, most gardens will have some ants nest around the property, they don’t cause major problems, predominately they are after the sweet secretion left behind by insects (like Aphids etc). You can minimise this by applying some BioGro certified Organic Plant tonic (seaweed, compost tea or fish tonic) this will help create a healthy plant with less insect problems hence less ant problems. You can purchase ant killers in store, the best ones would be the gel application as this gets taken away by the ants. Two to three applications might be required. Thanks, the Palmers team
