Hi. I am having trouble deciding what to plant. I would like to plant an ornamental weeping tree in our lawn. I would like it to provide a bit of privacy out from our lounge which looks out on to a wetland area with a walkway. But I don’t want to block the view completely with a huge tree. I would like something with a bit of a wow factor. One I have been consider is the weeping pear.
Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi Lorraine,
Some options for ornamental weeping trees are as follows:
- Acer palmatum dissectum virdis (Weeping Maple)
- Pyrus salicifolia pendula (weeping pear)
- Prunus subhirtella pendula rosea (flowering cherry)
- Prunus Falling Snow (white flowering cherry)
- Ulmus Glabra pendula ( weeping elm)
I hope you find something that suits your needs.
