I have a passion fruit vine which is planted in a good location and is watered regularly throughout the drier months. It flowered and produced some fruit but the vine has lost virtually all of its leaves and the fruit does not look like they are going to ripen fully. What has made the vine shed leaves and what can I do to remedy the situation?

Hi Julie, Passionfruit are heavy feeders but like a reasonable cool root run (lots of Mulch), leaves dropping is a sign of stress which could be the hot root run and lack of fertiliser Passion fruit do a lot better when they regularly fed with liquid organic fertilizer.

Thanks the Palmers Team
