I planted a peony bulb 3 years ago and it still hasn’t flowerd.
I planted in a large terracotta pot using palmers palmers bulb soil. The leaves grow every year and the leaves are lush and healthy with no flaws at all. But no bud for a flower.
I planted one bulb which was bought from palmers. Over the last two years I also put a free freesias in the pot as well.

Hi Pauline, They like a frosty climate and will only flower when they have had several frosts (I’m assuming that there is green foliage) having freesias in the pot is fine although you would need to re-pot every 2/3 years removing excess freesias.

Thanks the Palmers Team
