Can I still purchase a pittisporum that has the tiny black seed heads from time to time, and in the early summer evenings smell delicious. I have had them in two gardens, and wish to purchase one for my new location in Upper Hutt.

Hi Brenda,
There are a few different varieties of Pittosporum that smell divine, especially in the evenings. The most common one is the Lemonwood or Pittosporum Eugenoidies, then there is Pittosporum Tobira and even the Tenufolium has scented flowers. Pittosporums are usually very common to find in garden centres but as we are a franchise it is best to call your local Palmers directly to inquire.
Research the few varieties I have mentioned, one of these may be the one you love so much!
All the best in your search
