Hello
We have moved into a property with beautiful Michaela trees that have been under planted with dietes and hebe. Despite regular watering, the dietes are not flowering in the shade of the trees. Would you be able to suggest a colourful alternative?
Many thanks
Anne

Hi Anne,
Good plants for planting under trees and that will add a splash of colour are:
Clivia
Hellebore
Arthripodium
Hosta
Liriope
Ajuga
Impatiens
Bromeliads
Cyclamen
Ferns (some)
I hope this gives you a few ideas.
