I have a standard Pohutakawa tree that is 10 years old and is losing its leaves and looks like it was dying so I took it out of its pot and found it to be very root bound and have since planted it in the garden giving it plenty of room.
I hope it will survive is there anything else I could do to help it?
Thank you
Jan

Hi Jan, You can give it a good soak with a liquid fertiliser (seaweed, fish fertiliser, or compost tea) remember that a good soak further apart is better than little watering’s everyday. Especially with little rain being on the radar.
Thanks the Palmers Team
