When and how do I prune hydrangeas? Also our hydrangea does not flower, what do we need to do?

Hydrangeas should be pruned back (fairly hard) now while in winter dormancy. Flowers are produced on new spring seasons growth and should be in full colour by November. A good early spring feed with a plant food high in potash will help encourage flowering. Ask for alternatives offered at your nearest Palmers store.
