I’m looking to plant Queen palms down one side of the drive way as know these trunk and grow tall. I’ve heard the root system is a ball root and unlikely to disrupt the concrete. Is this correct. How much do they grow a year.
Thank you. Robyn.

Hi Robyn, that is correct, the root ball shouldn’t cause issues with concrete, depending on the quality of the concrete path/driveway. Speed of growth depends on the soil environment but trees will grow approximately 1m per year. Thanks, the Palmers team
