If I plant Ranunculus now will they flower in November? Also I want to put them in a bed with pompom dahlias but will the dahlias swamp the ranunculus or will they be finished flowering by the time the dahlias start? I would like continuous flower from spring until end of Autumn. Thanks.

Hi Colleen, the ranunculus will be finished by November even if you delay the planting till June/July. There are lots of variables, but the easiest way to explain is to buy bulbs right through the year i.e. spring bulbs now (and these can be staggered planted to extend flowering season) then it will be dahlias, then liliums, then begonia and so on. Pop into your local Palmers store each season to find out what’s next! Thanks, the Palmers team
