hi
we are laying ready lawn and have a thick layer of fresh topsoil. As we don’t know what weeds etc may be in the topsoil, is there a weed killer we can apply that wouldn’t damage the ready lawn? And how soon after applying the weed killer can we safely lay the ready lawn?

Hi Dianna, you haven’t laid the ready lawn? In this case the ready lawn mat will kill most seed that might be in the topsoil. What it won’t kill is potential other grass roots, but if you keep a healthy ready lawn they shouldn’t become a problem. I would not recommend spraying the topsoil prior to laying the ready lawn.
