Why does my rhubarb constantly get flower stalks which go to seed, I cut them off but another grows straight away, regards Ellen.

Hi Ellen, it would appear your soil is high in Potash which induces flower/fruit. Rhubarb are gross feeders (like to eat lots) if you increase the organic fertiliser (high in Nitrogen) this will help produce strong stems rather than flowers. BioGro certified Organic Plant tonic (seaweed, compost tea or fish tonic) will be a good start. Thanks, the Palmers team
