I have what looks like rust on a potted geranium. What is the best way to treat this?
Thanks

Hi Jeannie,
Rust is not easy to treat and it’s really about prevention. Make sure you remove any infected leaves ensuring no old leaves are left behind on the ground either. When you water the geranium make sure you keep the foliage as dry as possible (rust thrives in a moist environment) then spray with a mixture of free flow copper and enspray oil ensuring the spray gets under the leaves and around the plant. Repeat this every 3-4 weeks or more in humid conditions.
Thanks, the Palmers team
