We planted this weeping cherry about December last year. The leaves turned brown after some time (see picture). Do you think it is dead or may there be hope of regrowth in spring? We kept it well watered over dry summer. We used sheep pellets as manure when planting. It was planted in an area adjacent to where a silver birch was taken out a few months prior to planting. Many thanks for any help.

Hi David, If the leaves have been brown for a long time its most likely dead (scratch the bark with your finger nail if it is still green its ok if not its most likely dead
