I have 4 medium/large potted shrubs (of Lilly Pilly’s) outdoors and the soil is infected with a caterpillar type grub that I assume is eating the roots and slowly destroying the plant.
The pots are too large/heavy for 1 ordinary person to lift.
What should I do to eliminate this pest?
I have photographed the offender if that would help!

Hi Selwyn
Thanks for your question. Time to get something to kill the bug I think! Try neem oil which works well for all sucking and chewing insects. Neem granules can be placed underground and the spray on leaves.
Happy gardening
