I’m looking for a row of small grasses or flaxes to populate a narrow garden in a sunny spot. Something 25cm HxW would be ideal. All the carex, lomandra, libertia, phormium options I’ve looked at so far seem to get a bit tall. Open to any foliage colour, native would be nice but not essential. Ideas?

Hi M B, Some of the new Lomandra should be ok i.e. Little Con and Little Pal, Seascape, same with Carex, Evergold, Stricta Aurea. Availability can vary so you’ve just got to keep an eye open as to when they are available at your local garden centre. The other one are miniature Agapanthus or several Liriope varieties. Thanks the Palmers Team
