I have an orange tree almost completely covered in sooty mould. I intend to spray the tree with Mavrik citrus spray. How often would you recommend I use this product on the tree?

Hi Grant,
Sooty mould is only present when there are insects on your plant. You should spray Mavrik now to get rid of the problem, You can then follow this up in spring and summer. Monitor the problem and go from there.
I would recommend feeding your citrus tree with citrus fertiliser and liquid fertiliser. Amend the soil and top up with sheep pellets and compost if needed. A healthy tree will keep the bugs away.
All the best.
