I have moved to a property that is all paving slabs and concrete. Can I grow sub tropical plants in pots and what are your suggestions please.

Hi Kay, Shame you have little soil to play with, you will have to use big pots and planter boxes etc. You can definitely grow sub tropicals in pots (the benefit of concrete and paving is that is retains the heat so will help with sub tropical). You will still have to protect them from extreme weather conditions might this be wind or rain or indeed sun shine. We have a new Mulch coming out in 3 weeks made from Manuka foliage so totally organic and looks amazing this would be really good to use in pots to maintain a better (even) soil temperature and prevent moisture fluctuation in pots.
