My tamarillo plant grew to ten feet tall last season with only a few VERY small fruit a way up at the top. When should I prune it to make it branch out further down and what fertiliser should I feed it?

Hi Maureen,
We would recommend pruning the tree when risk of frost is gone and then adding a fertiliser such as Novatec or any fertiliser from our organic range. This should help give the tree a boost and put more of it’s energy into the fruit, and less energy into the tree itself.
Thanks, the Palmer team
