Hello,
I’m growing tomato plants inside this year and the plants are thriving but as the fruit sets the bottoms of the tomatoes appear to be rotting – am I over watering them or is this caused by something else?

Hi Kristen,
This is blossom end rot and is tends to be caused by irregular watering. Try watering at the same time each day preferable in the morning, but also only water if the plant requires this. You will probably find that as the plant gets bigger it will require more water, but maybe right now it is getting a bit too much.
Thanks
