Is it to late to plant tomato plants?
I have had success with tomatoes in pots this summer and am wondering if I can get another few pots planted?
Cheers Gary

Hi Gary,

Yes, it is typically too late to plant tomatoes. The main harvest time is usually January and February. It usually takes about three months of warm weather for a tomato plant to produce tomatoes so this will of course, be weather dependent.

If you had a glass house you could give it a go but I would not recommend planting new tomatoes now.

I’m glad you have had good success, tomatoes are rewarding to grow and always give you something to look forward to.
