I grew tulips for the 1st time this year and they were gorgeous!

Do I lift the bulbs out once they have finished and store for next year or are they best left in soil? What do I need to do to keep the bulbs healthy for next year?

Thanks
Andrea (1st time tulip grower)

Hi Andrea, It is always nice to get nice feedback. You will need to feed the bulbs right now (General fertiliser) then wait for the foliage to die down. Then lift the bulbs and store in a dry place. Place the bulbs in the fridge (in a paper bag) for about 6 weeks prior to planting again next year. Good luck! Thanks the Palmers Team
