Hi,is there anything you can do when your variegated flax begins to return to its original colour? We have 7 of the yellow colour. returning to green. they have been in the ground now for 3 years. We live in Taupo.

Hi Lorna,
The best thing to do for your flax plants if they are trying to revert to there original colour is to prune back any reverted foliage as far back/ to the base as you can. Do this as soon as you notice it. If the original colour is left without being pruned back it will soon dominate and take over.
