Hi,I purchased a white Daphne plant in a pot last year from Palmers Whangarei.it started to lose its leaves and the flower buds turned brown. I repotted it into a larger pot with new potting mix/compost but it continued to worsen and eventually died. I watered it and kept it in a shaded/sunny position. What caused it to die?.

Hi Petrina, Daphne’s struggle in pots, the best place would be a shady position. People tend to give them too much water. When a plant is under stress they do not require any water but people tend to keep give them more, making it worse. Also people tend to put them in a pot that is too big.
Thanks the Palmers Team
