My silverbeet is covered in what appears to be a white powder, which is probably some sort of mould. How can I get rid of this, and if I use seeds from these plants, is the disease likely to be passed on?
What you are describing does indeed sound like powdery mildew. Spray with Yates Natures way fungus spray. Spray regularly for control in warm and humid conditions.
