There were 2 yellow leaves on my lemon plant. Apart from this, the plant is growing very well. When the plant was smaller, there were several bouts of yellow leaves surfacing. I treated it with the yellow leaf tonic. What appears to be the problem now? Only 2 leaves were yellow? Is it in need of the tonic again?

Yellowing or diiscoloured leaves is one of the the most common problems suffered by citrus trees. It signifies a lack of nutrients improve the magnesium buy applying Sequestron or Yellow Leaf Remedy is a good quick fix or dissolve Epsom Salts in some water and apply to the soil (about 500g per young plant) for a more long-term solution (but don’t over do it!).

It sounds like it requires fertilising. If the leaves are yellow with the veins remaining green? This can be remedied by firstly watering thoroughly, then feeding with a specific Citrus fertiliser around the drip line and then watering thoroughly again. With a plant grown in a container feed with a slow release citrus fertiliser.
