Garlic Butter Roasted Cauliflower

Garlic Butter Roasted Cauliflower

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 15–20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head Cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil (or melted butter)

  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • Garnish: Freshly chopped Parsley and a squeeze of lemon.

  • Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese or red pepper flakes.

Instructions

  1. High Heat: Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a large baking tray with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

  2. The Toss: In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until every piece is evenly coated.

  3. The Roast: Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the tray. Ensure they aren't crowded so they roast instead of steam. Bake for 15–20 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the edges are golden brown and "charred" in spots.

  4. The Finish: Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with fresh Parsley (and Parmesan if using). A final squeeze of lemon over the hot cauliflower will cut through the richness of the garlic.

Note: For the best texture, keep the florets relatively small. This allows the garlic to caramelize and the edges to crisp up before the center becomes too soft.
