Blackberries Black Satin can be trained to grow up a trellis, screen, pillar or beside a deck or fence. Blackberry Black Satin produces colourful autumn foliage.

Find a site with soil rich in organic matter and good moisture content, that is shaded from the harsh afternoon sun.

In winter, during dormancy, old or weak canes can be removed. Copper sprays can be applied in winter to help with fungal disease control.

General fruiting time is February and March, apply extra water at fruiting time to improve fruit quality.
