Sunflower Royal Velvet Seed

Sunflower Royal Velvet is a unique ornamental sunflower. The large primary head flowers first and the small branching flowers follow, resulting in a long flowering period. Sunflower Royal Velvet grows to a height of 1.5cm.

Sow in Spring to early Summer, all year round in sub-tropical areas. Sow two seeds together 5mm deep at intervals of about 30cm direct where they are to flower. Keep moist until well established and thin out to one plant per position. Seedlings emerge 10-14 days. Water in hot dry weather. May need staking if grown in exposed areas.
