Can spa pools go outside?

What are the health benefits of a spa pool?
Research has proven that warm water can lower blood pressure, relieve fatigue, repair tissue damage and relieve aches and strains. After exercising, soaking in a spa pool increases the blood flow to your muscles, which helps to carry away the lactic acid to build up muscles faster, thereby easing fatigue. Hydrotherapy treatment also helps alleviate muscle pulls, strains and many other injuries; perfect after a day spent in the garden!
How much do spa pools cost to run?
Each Trueform Spa operating cost will be different, depending on the model, how often you use it, the temperature it is kept, and the cost of electricity.
As a general guide a Trueform Spa can cost between $1 and $2 per day to run. This range does vary because of the many different sized spa pools that Trueform offers.
Trueform Spas use a high density refrigerated grade insulation as well as its natural cedar cabinets which are an insulator as well, to ensure electricity costs are kept to a minimum.
What spa pool maintenance is required?
Maintaining a spa is quite easy, follow the simple setup instructions to get your pool correctly chemically balanced.
How often should I change the water?
This is like asking “how long is a piece of string”. Water change requirements depend on amount of use, the cleanliness of the users, the attention to sanitation of the pool and more. The general rule is to add spa chlorine (Spa Dichlor) after every use and test the water for balance once a week. You will “feel” when the water needs to be changed, it won’t feel or smell right. Emptying your Trueform spa is very easy, ask us to show you how. If you cannot use chlorine see below.
You do need to clean the filter cartridge now and again. This is a very easy process, it just pulls out, gets soaked in Cartridge Cleaner overnight, hosed out and back in it goes.
Is owning a spa pool hard work?
No, not at all. Add chlorine after every use, use the water chemical balance strips once a week and you should have trouble free spa’ing. If you are having problems, contact us, we are happy to help.
What is ozone?
Ozone is an increasingly recognised and popular water purifier for spa pools. Ozone is an effective oxidiser, so it reduces chemical use dramatically, and it also reduces total dissolved solids in the water so that it does not have to be changed as often.
Ozone kills parasites such as Cryptosoridium, Giardia, bacteria, viruses and mould. An Ozonator should be used in conjunction with either chlorine or bromine tablets as it does not kill all bacteria that can appear.
Ozone converts back to oxygen as it exits the water. To be effective the ozone must run 24 hours a day.
We can’t use Chlorine, does that mean we can’t have a spa?
Not at all. A good natural options that we stock in store is Spa Magic. A bottle of natural ingredients that you tip in your spa at least every three months.
