Lupin Hartwegii Mixed are tall, stately spires of sweetly scented blooms, ideal for cutting. A hardy annual and with their colourful mix of rose, white, blue and yellow shades they make cheerful additions to cottage garden beds.
Sow direct where they are to grow into damp soil and do not water again for a couple of days after sowing. Choose a sunny, well drained, sheltered position. For longer lasting cut flowers, stand stems in boiling water for 15-20 seconds: take care steam does not damage lower blooms. At the end of the season improve soil by digging in these nitrogen-rich plants. Plant height 1m | Germination 10 - 14 days | Flowering 20 weeks
