Chilli Habanero is an intensely hot chilli, rated 100,000–350,000 on the Scoville scale. Habaneros produce small, bell-shaped fruit, which are scarlet red at maturity.
Originally from the Caribbean, (try it in Jamaican jerk sauce) the Habanero's extreme heat and floral aroma is a favourite in spicy Tex-Mex foods like salsas, chilli & fajitas. Can be eaten green but will become hotter as chillis mature.
Great companion plant for basil, marjoram and parsley.
