Peas Garden Novella is self-supporting dwarf pea that requires no staking. It produces high yields of sweet, tender shelling pods that grow at the top of the bush and are easy to pick.
Choose a sunny, well-drained position to plant. Peas Garden Novella does not required trellis to grow on, but a low support (to 1m) may be beneficial. Pick young peas regularly for maximum yield and flavour.
Great companion plant for Beans, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, cabbage, celery, lettuce and radish. Avoid overwatering - seeds may rot before germination if soil is too wet. Water at the base of the plant, rather than overhead, to minimise risk of disease. At the end of the harvest, dig spent plants into the soil to add extra organic nitrogen. Germination 10 - 15 days | Maturity 9 - 11 weeks
