Climbing Snow Peas are a quick growing variety producing crisp, sweet pods that can be eaten whole. Lightly steam, add to stir-fries or use fresh in salads.
Plant in a sunny spot, position trellis or support running north to south for maximum sunlight.
Pick young peas regularly for maximum yield and flavour. Protect from snails and slugs.
Great companion plant for beans, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, cabbage, celery, lettuce and radish. Avoid overwatering seeds, may rot before germination if soil is too wet. Water at the base of the plant, rather than overhead, to minmise risk of disease. At the end of the harvest, dig spent plants into the soil to add extra organic nitrogen.
Germination 7 - 10 days | Maturity 8 - 10 weeks
