Dwarf Bean Simba produces heavy crops of long, stringless pods with great flavour. An excellent space saving variety growing to a height of 50 - 60cm.
Sow Dwarf Bean Simba deep in damp soil and avoid watering for a day or two afterwards. Ensure soil has been well prepared with organic compost and aged animal manure.
Sow 7-10cm apart, allowing 50cm between rows. Plant when danger of frost has passed & protect from wind. Ensure positioned in full sun.
Plant in 3-5m rows and remove weeds regularly. Water well during dry periods. Additional fertilising not required as legumes produce their own nitrogen.
Regular harvesting will result in prolonged yields.
Sow in Spring and Summer; Autumn too in warmer zones.
