A hardy annual which grows in any ordinary well-drained soil in a sunny location. Very strong sunlight may, however, cause the flower colour to fade. Gypsophila Bright Rose grows to a height of 60cm.
Sow thinly, direct in flowering position. Just cover the seeds with soil and keep moist. Thin plants to about 15cm apart if required. Make successive sowings so you can have a continuous supply of flowers for indoor decoration. Sow year round, except hottest and coldest months.
