Sweet Pea Mammoth Mixed is early flowering. Free flowering over a long period. Ideal for cutting having long stems. Needs a fence or trellis and lots of sun, growing to a height of 180cm.
Sow late Summer through to late Autumn – Spring too in cold districts, 12mm deep in flowering position, thin out to 20cm apart. Prepare soil well with organic matter and compost about 1 month before sowing. Ensure soil is damp when sowing as this will usually negate any need for additional watering until seedlings appear. Seedlings emerge 10-14 days. Flowers in 12-14 weeks. Sow in mid summer to late autumn.
