The Beetroot Crimson Globe value pack contains a full 10g of seed for those who have a larger-than-usual garden, or who prefer to buy their seed in the traditional way. Very easy to grow, this deep crimson variety is deservedly popular for its fine flavour. Beetroot grows well in most well cultivated soils.
Sow 12mm deep in rows 30cm apart in a well-prepared garden bed. Ensure plenty of organic matter/compost/manure has been added. Keep soil moist. Thin out to 10cm apart when large enough to handle. Sow thinly and repeat every 4-6 weeks for succession.
Ensure at least 6 hours of sun per day.
