Press lightly (as seeds need light to germinate) into trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Firm down and water with a fine mist spray. Keep trays in a warm place and retain moisture by covering with glass or plastic cling film until seedlings appear. Transplant when large enough to handle. Choose a sunny, well drained soil. Cut stalks back after first flush to encourage a second flowering. Autumn sown plants will need protection from frosts when young.
